Tastings in Society Venues
If you’re hosting a function in one of our private rooms in Edinburgh or London, we’d be delighted to create a whisky tasting to suit your event. You can choose from an impressive selection of themed tastings or hire our new bespoke tasting service, where you will liaise directly with your own Society Whisky Ambassador to create your specialist whisky tasting.
Society tastings include an experienced taster, specialist tasting glasses, tasting notes and, of course, the single cask malt whiskies.

Introduction to Single Cask, Single Malts
- Discover the history, production, regional overview and appreciation of Whisky.

‘Bourbon vs. Sherry’ whisky tasting
- Learn about the impact and lasting impression of the wood on the Spirit during maturation and differences between American and European oak.

- Discover the international spirits the Society has passionately bottled in it’s unique single cask method including Armagnac, Somerset Cider Brandy, Rum, Japanese whisky and more.

‘The Tasting Panel’s Unanimous Choice’ whisky tasting
- When only the BEST will do, sample the top scoring malts from our Society Panel of experts, each malt earning a place in history as ’an exceptional dram.’

Bespoke Tasting Service
- Once in touch with your personal Society Whisky Ambassador, you will be guided through a process to match themes, topics and whiskies according to expectations and desired outcome for the event.

**There is no extra room hire charge for a Society Whisky Tasting. Charges for the tasting, regardless of number of people attending will be on the basis of a minimum of ten
people.
